Project Description
The homeowner contacted us due to a leaking existing water supply line. Our team coordinated with both the city and utility provider, excavating a trench through the front yard to install 60 feet of polyethylene water supply piping, a meter well, and new meter. We provided a bed of gravel below the meter well to ensure water safely and effective drains and does not freeze the meter. Additionally, we made new access through the foundation wall, sealing around the pipe and installing one new main water shut-off valve. Finally, prior to backfilling the excavation, we installed a tracer wire which will enable future locating for maintenance or repairs.
